My friend's son is 5 years old. Smart kids of the techno generation who seem to have born tech savvy.
My friend is very particular that his son must be proficient in English. He often rants, 'Good command in English is mandatory. I make sure sometimes my son watches English movies. Whatever he understands will help him grow.' That sounds like a very responsible father, I thought.
Saturday afternoon, my friend starts his English teaching class with Star Movies. Both father and son are glued to the screen.

Then comes the entry of a romantic couple. 'He will think they are friends like his best friend in school'.
The couple starts flirting.
'Good friends playing together. He must be thinking'.
Suddenly, out of the blue, they start kissing, the passionate first kiss.
'Oh God!...
Dad will you teach me how to do this? I will also kiss my best friend tomorrow.
No wait....where is the remote...can anyone please tell them to stop...
Errr....dad teach me...
Well, many of the young dad experience this often. Can't blame Star Movies though. They always mention Parental Guidance. No, they certainly don't want you to demonstrate a kiss to your son, but probably explain, only adults kiss like this.
For every generation who has grown up with Star Movies knows what a huge impact it had on their lives.
Thank you Star for bringing world cinema to us so early. Keep rocking!
