With the AI wave everywhere, is organic search still useful?

Google organic search results have evolved overtime. The search result page clearly targets 2 different audiences.

AI Mode is for most of us who want clear and crisp answers. It is still being driven by the 'how to' and 'top 5' type of questions. The answers don't appear as paragraphs but sections with headings that makes it easy for the user to understand.

Organic search results that appear as websites offer a more detailed answer to the query. These are clicked by users who want to understand the topic better. Search intent in this case can be to understand an ancident or subject better, rather than getting quick answers.

How often do we need such detailed answers?

More now than ever before. Consumers are way more educated, aware and conscious now. Compare insurance schemes in Policy Bazaar or car prices in CarDekho. TripAdvisor has become a giant just by giving travellers a platform to share reviews. App feedbacks do matter before downloading an app.

We have already created a section of consumers who dont want to be misguided. The need to do basic research before spending is becoming a habit. Organic Google search is here to stay as

globally the focus on reading is being re-enforced.
